Lisbon

We walked back from the Gulbenkian Museum via the Parque Edouarado VII and in particular the Estufas glasshouses, which were a revelation. Like so much of Lisbon they are in need of a little care and attention, but in design they are amongst the best we have seen. So often greenhouses and conservatories are boring and samey. The glass and its supports in the Estufa quente are so unobtrusive and the landscaping so subtle that it feels as though you are walking in a real tropical garden. Please make more of this in future guides and also point out that the entrance is in Rua Castilho.
